Glorious Double Big Mac

OMG, one great thing about being in Hawaii is the majestic DOUBLE BIG MAC. That's right, 4 majestic patties of meat and cheese. It's like the Big Mac we all know and love, but that much more heart-cloggingly awesome.

If you find yourself in Hawaii in the summer, be sure to pick one up. It's a life changing experience. Not quite as good as a good 4x4 at In-N-Out, but you know it gets close.

Nice job with posterous. I am what the industry call early adopter and also engineer working IT for a long time. Since last year I have been using tumblr for blogging and that is why I am here, to give it a try. Although tumblr is a nice and simple blogging platform, the social community is a bit too closed and tough to become integrated. There is no way to find your niche over there. Or you are in or you are out. Think by the time you decide to incorporate more social elements on posterous you should pay attention to the mistakes they are doing over there.

Wish you the best on your venture and I will be posting, and also putting some of my tumblr posts over here. BTW, that would be a good feature, facilitate to post things from other blogs here.

The comment by marcio is on the spot. Tumblr has social issues of getting in the community. You've got to be a hipster sorta person and know something in the company to get instantaneous love.

Here are a couple of easy to implement (what I think are easy) features that can make it easier to bounce from user to user. Make your subscribers and subscriptions visible to all. Xanga did that back in the day and it worked really well. Perhaps an equivalent of eprops? Make the frontpage show more active users to make the site seem like it's alive (We know it's hoppin' from the techcrunch post but you wouldn't know that from the front page).

This service is amazing. I look forward to see how you guys make it sticky and viral!

Don't you love how Hawaiians take perfectly decent food and ask themselves, "How can we make this even MORE awesome?"

Case in point: the Loco Moco. Imagine if the Double Big Mac came with an egg inserted between the patties and brown gravy dipping sauce on the side. Then you'd be MONEY.
