Bennett's MouthBlog

Jean just sent me a link to this pretty funny podcast that just got started on posterous:

Coming at you straight from LA, he reviews Iron Man, Indiana Jones and Sex and the City. Pretty good stuff, and it's got an insider LA kind of vibe that I like. Give it a listen.

Podcasts are cool since it's kind of like listening to talk radio, but then you get a fresh real voice that can say almost anything.

I saw this video and it was just too awesome. This is starting to become one of my favorite songs ever... I love how pre-MTV nobody really subjected themselves to music videos, so the ones we see now are really just cobbling together of various film clips. Because their videos are so different, its almost like pre-MTV bands are mythologized... like how truly old texts are written on scrolls. The medium is truly the message.

Airphones. WTF really?

I wonder what people were saying at the board meeting when airphones were being proposed. Do these things even work anymore? Has anyone ever seen someone actually call someone on this thing?

It's like a billion dollars a second to call someone. Why not just put them in first class, instead of in every seat? Maybe if there was just one up front next to the bathrooms, then they could charge only a hundred thousand dollars per second to call.

In 5 hours I'll be back in Boston. Until then I will be incommunicado. But luckily if I reaaaaaally need to call someone, my airphone is right here. Phew.

Worst flight ever. Shrieking baby from the 9th ring of Sheol.

Ok parents. Next time make sure to cast that level 12 pacify spell on your hellspawn before you get on a 6 hour cross country flight. Also try to avoid placing screaming child's gaping maw next to my ear. While I'm sleeping. Please.

Also to the oblivious teenager sitting to my right, if your elbow or knee intrudes on my personal space again... I swear. Argh some people.
