Across the Universe is out on DVD. It's a masterpiece -- a marvel
for any Beatles fan. If you love the Beatles, you have to see it.
This movie musical just captures the time so amazingly, and the
musical performances by the whole cast are phenomenal, especially
Evan Rachel Wood and Jim Sturgess. A special treat: appearances by
Bono and Salma Hayek! The cinematography is quite good too.
Don't expect a traditional movie -- it's very much a musical homage
to the greatest musical oeuvre in the history of popular music.
