Boston Metro

Took this photo out the airplane window the other day. Surprised how much you could make out of Boston and the surrounding areas.

Boston to the upper left, Cambridge to the upper right. Charles River runs top to bottom, Mystic River to the right and Boston Harbor just out of frame below.

You can make out the Boston skyline and the Tobin bridge when viewed at full size.

Best Call to Actions Ever

I recently had to file a change of address with the USPS through their very well designed change-of-address website. I have to say I am impressed with how straightforward the experience was and how the interaction design and information design really sped the user to completion.

Of particular note I most enjoyed the call to actions, which were always a) LARGE and b) explained what would happen next.

Well done, USPS. Finally, a web experience by a large faceless agency that doesn't suck!

Aces Photoshoot

My friend Trance plays bass and produces for a badass San Jose hip hop act called Aces. Had an awesome time playing poker and listening to them play out too.
